Research activities

My laboratory has expertise in nucleic acid chemistry.

The main focus of research is the synthesis of Peptide Nucleic Acids (PNAs) as DNA mimics. These molecules are used both in diagnostics and therapeutics. In addition, we are developing PNAs as antimalarial agents.
